Therefore, we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 2 Corinthians 4:16 How many times does a baby fall down on their way to becoming a toddler? A child first pulls themselves to standing, then holds on to a table and scoots around it. Then with eagerness and anticipation, they step away...and fall. They get up and start the whole process over again-falling down over and over. But no child has ever given up and just decided to stay on the floor and voluntarily crawl through life. We should have that same kind of perseverance in our Christian walk. Dont lose heart because of failures. Dont lose heart because of aging or illness or discouragement or anything else. Remember that God is teaching you and growing you into a likeness of Himself. Dear Lord, Every time I feel like I let you down or that I fail you, help me to remember that you are teaching me and growing me in your likeness. Keep holding my hands and keep helping me along. I pray these things in Jesuss name. Amen
