Theres a contrast here. There are people who will see this trailer...later the movie. They have seen the previous movie (with Kirk Cameron) and read the books. Some will decry God as hateful...horrible...evil. How could a GOOD GOD let all this death and destruction and pain happen!! A GOOD GOD wouldnt DO this! theyll yell and complain. And these same people will have no excuse. For the Lord of Heaven has been WARNING about this time for generations. The signs are ALL AROUND US! The End Times is not some period in the future...WE ARE IN THE END TIMES NOW. EVERY time the Bible depicted the destruction or invasion of Israel or defeat of Israel in war or some other terrible event, it was ALWAYS preceded by two things: Israels ongoing, unrepentant sins and WARNINGS, often prophesies. And God PROMISED, If you would JUST STOP SINNING and TURN BACK to Me, I will forgive you and I will take you into my arms and all will be well. The decay of the nation was already happening from within. Like an inner sickness that left the body WEAK. And when the body is weak from WITHIN, it is all that much easier to defeat from outside. (Tell me that you havent felt totally unable to move and respond when youre out with a cold and youll understand my analogy.) So when people who dont understand God see this movie, theyre going to declare God EVIL. But they have NO justification for such a claim: God is Judge and the people disobey. What this movie will depict are possible events when the prophesies come true and ALL THOSE who denied God and demanded their own way will suffer. But thats not the WHOLE story. In one final breath, God will allow grace for those who would finally believe. But once Jesus returns, the chaff will be removed... Please...dont YOU be the chaff, too.
