Theres a new document on the application website from the highways who have withdrawn their objection to the proposed turbine as their view of it being a danger would incur HIGH costs in the event of an appeal...below is from the document given the above the highway authority consider that there is a potential high risk of costs on appeal on the basis of a refusal on highway safety grounds that the turbine would cause an unwarranted distraction to drivers. In this particular case the turbine proposed is of significant scale when compared to those currently located in the County. Such an objection however on highway safety grounds would be based upon a subjective view rather than a factually informed view supported by planning policy guidance and evidence.
