Theres a winner of a $12 million grand prize from the Jan. 1 Lotto Texas drawing, and as it turns out, its the states public schools. A 6 p.m. Monday deadline came and went without a winning ticket being presented for the $12 million drawing. That means the ticket-holder forfeits any claim to the prize and the unclaimed money reverts to the state and goes into the Foundation School Fund that supports Texas public schools.
