Theres been plenty of speculation regarding Ex Hurricane Bertha - TopicsExpress

Theres been plenty of speculation regarding Ex Hurricane Bertha which is now heading eastwards across the Atlantic. This Sunday we expect to feel the remnants of this tropical storm if it stays on its current track, which would see it blow through Southern England. For us here in the South West it means a coastal battering more suited to an autumn season. The south coast is likely to see gale force winds, with many parts seeing heavy outbreaks of rain from the early hours of Sunday onwards. As much 50mm could fall bringing the risk of localised flooding. The storm itself has had a lot of media attention. To be clear Bertha is no longer a hurricane. The depression could also change its direction and head across France as a much weaker feature.
