Theres nothing wrong with a genuine compliment, and thats - TopicsExpress

Theres nothing wrong with a genuine compliment, and thats perfectly fine if you want to tell someone theyre beautiful. But when Im going to school, work, the grocery store or walking my dog, theres a pretty good chance I dont want to be hooted at, cat called or spoken to as if Im the one being rude because I wont talk to you. Women are treated as if its their fault when a man is attracted to you. Ive heard from religious leaders, people on the street and my own family at times not to dress a certain way because it will draw negative attention to myself. Well clearly it doesnt matter how I dress, men are going to say whatever they want. I dont dress for anyone except myself. Ill doll up when I want to, dress down when I dont care, and god forbid its hot because Ill be wearing shorts. How about we teach our sons to control themselves around a lady instead of SHAMING the girls for being having bodies? Thanks.
