Theres so much going on at USAO this weekend, its a veritable Droverpalooza! At 4 p.m., dont miss the Alumni recital in the Chapel, featuring grads Matthew Dean (2013), Dee Dee McCormick (2007), Scott Pitts (2010) and Angela Stewart (1996) as well as Dr. Dex Marble, the USAO Chamber Choir and many others! We have not one but TWO art show opening receptions, both beginning at 7:00 p.m. In the Nesbitt Gallery, a complete set of OCW/OCLA/USAO art department chair Derald Swinefords Christmas linotype prints will be on display in a show called Christmas Past. Upstairs, four senior BFA students will be displaying their work in the Third Floor Art Gallery. The show, raw, features the work of Michelle Birdwell, Ted Conley, Vaunda Knapp and Aubrey Van Tassell. Finally, at 7:30 p.m., the final performance of Alan Ayckbourns Bedroom Farce begins in the Davis Hall Little Theater. The newly renovated box office opens at 7. General admission tickets are $10 but USAO students, staff, faculty and paid members of the USAO Alumni Association get in free! Dont miss this biting commentary on the joy and hazards of married life from one of Englands most beloved playwrights! All this, PLUS the Drover Mens soccer team taking on Oklahoma Baptist in the SAC Quarterfinals beginning at 2pm on the Drover Pitch AND both Drover basketball teams competing in Student Homecoming matches, beginning at 4pm for the women and 6pm for the men, all in the USAO Fieldhouse!
