Theres still time to register... Winter Instructional Swim Program (winterswim.webs/) Since 1985 volunteers have been working together to ensure the continued success of the WISP program. Our primary goal is to give our local youth the opportunity to participate in Red Cross swim lessons. Through this program children aged 4 years and older are able to receive instructions on swim techniques as well as water safety and life saving procedures. For eight (8) Friday evenings, starting January 16, 2015 and ending March 15, 2015, swimmers will have one (1) hour in the pool and take part in a Red Cross swim lesson. The program costs include round-trip transportation to/from Artillery Park Pool in Kingston. Two sessions are available. The first bus picks-up at the Lyndhurst Library (5:00 pm) and Seeley’s Bay Library (5:15 pm) to transport the participants to the pool for a one-hour swimming time starting at 6:00 pm. Swimmers are returned to the same points in Seeley’s Bay (7:45 pm) and Lyndhurst (8:00 pm). The second bus follows the same schedule one (1) hour later.
