PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparation and review of construction drawings depicting equipment locations, wiring, tray layouts, supports, cable schedules, and lighting Preparation and review of layouts and plans for electrical buildings and facilities Responsible for assembling electrical detailed design packages from start to finish. Proficient in creating key plans, one-lines, cable tray, lighting, underground ductbank, MCC building and power plan drawings. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 10 - 20 years of experience in applying the discipline skill to Oil and Gas facilities projects Ability to spec out equipment sufficient to the clients scope of work. Heavy Cad experience in 3-D modeling and 2-D basics. Able to apply detail design knowledge in the creation of every Cad drawing needed for an IFC pack-age Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Willingness to travel and physical ability to go offshore and safely swing from a rope to a platform Must have Autocad and some 3D software experience High degree of Computer Aided Drafting electrical design competence Capable of working with AutoCAD based products to route 3D cable tray and locate major electrical equipment in a 3D model Experience working with other disciplines external references as the background for creating cable tray/equipment models Knowledgeable of basic drafting procedures and standards for creating 2D drawings that will be issued for construction Capable of coordinating electrical work with electrical engineers and designers as well as with other disciplines designers to help develop complete construction drawing packages Capable of directing activities of peers and below in performing his or her work We thank all applicants for their interest.
