These are definitely Green Gill Parasol Mushrooms, found in Lafayette, IN today. You can tell by their general size, shape, scaly cap, double-ringed annulus, and the green tint to the gills when mature. They also turn reddish-brown instantly when you cut the stalk. They dont really smell all that good or earthy like other mushrooms can at times. Their spore print when taken should also be a greenish tinted color. WARNING!!! POISONOUS, so dont eat them. They are the #1 cause of mushroom poisoning in North America so I stress again, dont eat them, they can cause a variety of ailments from diarrhea to even death in some cases.
