These are desperate times, and, unfortunately, look set to continue for some time yet. It is in times of difficulty, like these, that charity aid and support is vital, but all too often, it is overlooked by those who can help. We have a choice. Do we, like a lot of people, simply tighten our belts, keep our heads to the ground, and just hope that it all blows over soon? Or, do we take a more unusual, but proactive step to change our future, and the future of those around us? We here at the Flea Market in Fassouri, Limassol, have chosen the latter. In order to help people beat the crisis we have allocated a large area at the Flea Market which will become a ‘free zone’. The idea of this area is that spaces will be available to anyone wishing to take advantage of it, completely free of charge. Whether you have a new business idea but have not yet had the chance to test it due to the recession, or you just want to turn your unwanted items into much needed cash, we are giving you the chance to do it for free. We are offering anyone over the age of 16 an opportunity to come and utilise the designated space to sell or advertise at the Flea Market for free. There are no contracts to sign. Anyone wishing to take advantage of this offer is under no obligation to continue trading at the Flea Market, and there is absolutely no money to pay. Free really means free. To make it fair for everyone, however, we are limiting this offer to one month per stallholder. But, there is always the option for people to continue on at the Flea Market as a regular trader, should it prove fruitful for them. We do hope that charities, as well as the general public, will take full advantage of this free space and obviously we will be contacting all the local charities to inform them of this fantastic offer. We would love to see charity workers down at the Flea Market selling their products, advertising their cause, or simply just spending time making people aware of the great charity work that is going on behind the scenes. For everyone else, we hope that you are able to come and support those charities, or claim your own space and get involved with what we are trying to do. Advertising starts this week, and the offer is open to all on a first come, first serve basis. So, get in touch and book your free space today.
