These are my blank art cards in the author series that will be available shortly at Audreys Books Ltd.. I dont do photo realism because if you have a photo, what is the point? Instead, I try to capture the essence of the person I am sketching. These cards would make perfect gifts from a writer or for a writer or a writing organization who is always looking for a way to say thanks to presenters at festivals and conferences and you will be supporting me, an Edmonton author/artist. I need money for my vino! They will be avail to purchase separately or in a plastic package of five as shown. Each has its own envelopes. I will be bringing some to sell at the September Glass Door also and one pkge as a door prize but you can call Audreys and ask for them. Dont have a price yet but should be standard. If successful, I will add Leonard Cohen, Alice Munro and Michael Ondatjee to the series---or any other suggestions. Am also working on sketching headliners who appeared at the Glass Door. What better place to buy author art cards but at a bookstore and while there, pick up my book Loddy-Dah. There are elements about art in the book so quite appropriate. Back of card has card title, and my name with author/artist. Ill sign the back if you want. May be worth something one day. Ha!
