so while watching fox news, and specifically bill oreilly. They are talking about the disadvantages that black kids have over white kids, and the statistics of the life they stand to lead. I have a huge problem with their argument. Simply put ANYONE OF ANY RACE that wants a better life can go and get it. You dont like where you live than go figure out and work to get out of there. You dont want your kid to grow up and be a thug? Then dont raise them around thugs... Its really pretty simple. I do think that we need to get the police in check as well, and get them either trained on how to use their equipment or take it away. if they cant follow protocol and they screw up then thats on them. while watching the show tonight they interviewed people in new york on the Michael Brown situation and asked about the situation. Half of them said they had not researched it, but were certain that the cop should be in jail with no trial................... seriously? so you want right to a fair trial, but dont want to give one? this is our country, and until we as citizens of this nation decide to educate ourselves about basic principles and laws, then we will continue this downward spiral we are in.
