These are pages from an old farm book relating to the everyday working of the Shearing Farm in 1900-1919 they show spending wages what was carted off the farm . Most of the boys helped farm the land with the average wage being 16 pound 11 shillings and 3 pence for 3 months as well they were allocated milk and butter, and some meat . Neil said they had no choice but as his mother made the butter and as she was blind it was often un useable as it had flies set in it. In total there are about 100 pages. This is the first time I have shared any of the pages with anyone on any site.
