These are some of the SV alumni who gathered together yesterday after the memorial service for John de la Rosa. Weve lost too many of our old friends and classmates over the years, and each time its a reminder that these are the people who helped shape us into who we are. Sometimes we fought and sometimes we laughed (and sometimes both still happen), but in the end there is a part of each of us that only the people we came of age with can understand. We live in an age when its easy to keep in touch and to maintain friendships, and we should take advantage of that rather than waiting for the sad times to gather, be there for each other, and just enjoy the company of old friends. So in the spirit of honoring the friends weve lost, who we were, who we are, and who we want to be, please use this group to keep up those connections.
