These days, Copenhagen is bustling in all its corners with construction work by world famous Danish architects and the expansion of the metro system. The city has been highly modernised over the course of the last century and, while keeping its unique characteristics and charm, it is today a very different city from the pre-WWII days. In this clip you can see Copenhagen as it was in 1937, where tramways and bicycles dominated the city landscape. Today, the bicycles still dominate the streets where politicians, students and people going back and forth from work bike side by side and enjoy this easy way of travelling across the city.
