These last 2 weeks have made me realize that I know a lot of people in school. Congratulations to all the new graduates! I definitely dont miss school, but I made some of the most amazing friendships there and learned a lot of life lessons. I want to share 3 things that I think would be helpful, and that have helped me in the transition to post grad life aka the real world. 1. Live your life with integrity. Stay true to yourself, follow your own passion, and never give into peer pressure. You really wont be truly happy if you try to be someone youre not. 2. The real world will knock you down a lot (and I mean a lot). But thats okay as long as you keep getting back up. Every time you slip 1 step backward, make sure you get back up and walk 2 steps forward. 3. Learn to pause and reflect. The world keeps moving faster and faster, and people are constantly running out of time. When things seem to be moving too fast, take a deep breath, relax, and try to just enjoy the moment. Youll miss out on so many things happening right now if youre only looking towards the future. Congratulations once again and welcome to the real world. I know youll all do great things iA.
