These letters, messages,emails really make us smile. Hi moorook animal shelter! I thought Id write in to let you know how well my two boys are going. The staffy is Bodie (aka Theo) and the kelpie is Maxi (who was unnamed when we picked him up). My (now) husband and I adopted these two ratbags over two years ago from Moorook, which I can easily say was THE BEST decision we have ever made! They are true joys in our lives! At first we found it a little bit difficult to train them (&teach them how to play & fetch) but like all things it takes time and persistence. They join me for runs and my husband for down hill mountain biking. They are good with other dogs and we have recently introduced them to our little nephew who is 1 yo. They love going to the beach in summer and running trails (even in the rain) in winter. Chasing/fetching tennis balls is their favourite! Every time friends or family suggest to get another pet we always encourage them to adopt first! Thank you for all that you do, without your care, strength and persistence to take in these beautiful creatures and rehome them, we would have never had the pleasure of having Maxi and Bodie in our lives! X
