These photos depict why my favorite City in the World to visit is Praha, Czech Republic. Maybe its my heritage, maybe its the Beauty that it has to offer, or maybe its the magic of its colorful and fascinating architecture. We are headed to Maui this December, but in December 2015, we will return to Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, Praha Castle (believed to have been built around 880) and any of the many Christmas Markets (Vanocni try) that you will find in every part of the City. Robert Louis Stevenson said that Wine is bottled poetry and Czech wines have come into their own, and predominantly from the Moravia region of south eastern Czech Republic and tthe best of which is Frankovka. You need to also sample these Czech food favorites; Kolena (pork knuckle); Vepro-kneels-,zero (roast pork-,bread dumplings and stewed cabbage); Tatarak; Ovocne knedliky (fruit dumplings); Bramboraky (golden-fried potato pancakes);Nakladany hermelin (pickled cheese); Utopenci (pickled pork sausage); Svickova na smetane (sirloin, vegetable gravy and bread dumplings); and the best for last - Palacinky (fruit crepes).
