These pictures are from a case that I worked last week. Two young Chihuahua mix dogs living in a shopping cart! This is not ok and is not legal. The couple were charged and a guilty plea was given by the two. Thank you Judge Mowrer for your order of no pets! The Kennett Humane Department, Kennett Police Department and Municipal Court of the City of Kennett will not tolerate animal neglect, cruelty or abuse! We need to let Judge Mowrer, Prosecuting Attorney Terry Mcvey and City Court Clerk, Shelly Speck know that we appreciate their hard work and dedication to stop the mistreatment of our animals. The Kennett Humane Department appreciates their support!
