These pictures show the kiln setup for Donna Hardies cast buffalo tray that she is making for an auction at NDSU. She cut the buffalo out of fiber paper first and cast clear glass over it. This came out to a depth of over 1/2 an inch. Then she cut strips of different colored glass to this dimension and stood them on edge around the buffalo casting to create her design. Tomorrow I will post a photo of all the glass fused together before she does the finishing work so it can be slumped into a tray.
