These three photos show a tribute to the birthplace of basketball,located at Mason Square. It consists of two bronze basketball players at center court,surrounded by four descriptive glass panels. In two of the photos you can see clearly the glass panels.. In the lone photo you can see that the glass panels are covered up with plywood. I took these photos a year apart. recently as I went by there I noticed the glass panels were covered so I inspected them .I looked in between the plywood and found one glass panel shattered and the other ones were covered to further protect them from vandalism ... What a shame.........
