They Fought for Our Home. We’ll Fight Against Their Homelessness-Los Angeles Regional Homeless Restoration Advisory Coalition (LARHRAC). Everyday, thousands of Veterans who fought for the safety of our country are now fighting against homelessness seemingly against great odds. There are many reasons Veterans can become homeless, including poverty, lack of support from family or friends, substance use, or mental health challenges that may develop or worsen as a result of trauma they experience while serving. As a Vietnam Veteran, and President of the Los Angeles Regional Homeless Restoration Advisory Coalition, Im committed to meeting the needs of every Veteran within Los Angeles County- and I need your help. For a tax deductible donation of at least $25.00, we can arrange for a mother with child, veteran, and/or individual to be taken off the streets so that they can begin the recovery assessment process into comprehensive, individualized care including health care, housing assistance, job training, and education that can help secure safe, stable housing and achieve self-sufficiency. Our goal is to make available 500 nights of stay sooner-rather-later. With you contribution of at least $25.00, we can do this within 30 days.
