They know not what they are doing! If as believers we all agree to the fact that the world is antichrist, then it is unrealistic to expect the world to love and hail us if we are indeed a genuine follower of Christ. The world loves sin, inequities and transgressions. Christ is Gods holiness and righteousness revealed. And as Gods holiness and righteousness revealed, Christ is fulfiller of all laws and righteousness of God as Righteousness itself (Jeremiah 23:5-6, Matthew 5:17, Romans 10:1-4). God as a righteous God disapproves of sin even though He loves the sinner and wishes for a sinner to repent so that he or she will not permanently perish in sin. God totally disapproves of sin because He is a holy God (1 Peter 1:15-16). The wages of sin is of course death (Romans 6:23). And God did not create man to perish in death but for man to live eternally as a living soul. But the world of sin with the help of Satan the chief sinner shows hatred for the sinner man by loving, encouraging and approving everything that are of sins. And this can only work to bury mans soul deeper in damnation of sins, which is the whole intent of Satan the wicked rebellious fallen angel of doom. The world is a world of darkness. And to be in Christ who is LIGHT is to be a brightening shining light offspring of Christ in the world (Matthew 5:13-16, John 8:12, 9:5). The world of course hates Christ as light of the world. And if the world hates Christ as light then it is obvious to see why the world will passionately hate us and vigorously desire to persecute us as offspring of Christ. The hatred of the world for you as a follower of Christ is evidence of the fact that everything approved of by God is hated by the world of darkness due to desire of man as flesh to freely sin in the world and continually rebel against God. However, even though the world hates us, we must continually stand in the gap for the lost souls of the world who are used by Satan to persecute Gods saints. The dead lost souls are unconscious to the damming consequences of their actions. And this is why we must continue to love them with the love of Christ and habitually intercede for them before Gods throne of grace and mercy for they know not what they are in fact doing! If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. ~ John 15:18-20
