They say this is FINAL. FINALLY Beginning at 8 PM on Friday, October 11th, 2013; traffic restrictions will be in place on I-471 SB for final resurfacing beginning on the I-471/Daniel Carter Beard Bridge, extending through the I-275 Interchange. At 10 PM Friday night, traffic will be further reduced to a single lane until 6 AM Monday morning, October 14th. The entrance and exit ramps throughout the corridor may be closed at various times while I-471 SB is surfaced in front of the ramps. Detours will not be posted; drivers are encouraged to use the next ramp. Long delays will be apparent on the I-471 corridor. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes. Please use caution, REDUCE SPEED, and watch for traffic control devices, equipment and crews along the work zone. · Ramp Closures will also be in effect on the I-471 Southbound corridor during nighttime periods throughout the week of October 8th thru October 11th. The ramp closures will occur after 10 PM to allow the ramps to be surfaced. Closures will be intermittent and last several hours. Detours will not be posted; drivers are encouraged to use the next ramp. The schedule for closures will be as follows: - Tuesday, October 8th, 2013 - Grand Avenue (KY 1892) Entrance Ramp will be periodically closed after 10 PM. - Wednesday, October 9th, 2013 - Grand Avenue (KY 1892) Entrance Ramp will be periodically closed after 10 PM. - Thursday, October 10th, 2013 - Memorial Parkway (KY 1120) Entrance Ramp will be periodically closed after 10 PM.
