They say time heals all wounds, but I think a more accurate way of saying this is time is a bandage that covers the wound, but scars are often left behind. Two years ago, my heart and soul were severely wounded with the death of my brother, Terry. The scar will be permanent as long as I live, but the precious memories will forever be alive. When I pass by your house, I can still see you working on a car, snow blower, mower, or anything with an engine. I see you with a dozen cats gathered around you, rubbing against your legs, just loving all the affection that you gave them. I hear your voice and giggle to myself at some of the goofy things you could come up with What about your rendition of the moonwalk and your likeness to Tim the Toolman and his souped up lawn tractors, weed wackers and snow blowers. Terry, these are just a couple of the countless things I miss about you. So until we meet again, which I know we will, I love you, I miss you, and I thank God for the precious memories-how they linger....................
