They underestimated me because they know I graduated from Harvard and assume that I am an elitist and will therefore be intimidated or ashamed by their tactics. What they forgot to remember is that Harvard is not where I started. I started in Baltimore, Maryland so I am not afraid of most situations. I spent a year at Clifton Park Junior High so I am Bmore Tough. I am not even scared of Detroit. Maybe just a little. I have relatives who have done time for murder. Do they really think my family is going to shun me behind this bullshit? If anything, they have elevated me to more party invitations. I am no longer the nerd. Maybe just a little, but at least I have my jail-chops. Ive done time. Ive been their slave, at their mercy. I chose slavery over death. They wanted me to chose death so that they could lock me up in a suicide gown completely naked like every third room on my floor, but I instead chose to whisper quite loudly on regular basis: Don’t chose death over your problems. Let your problems go and choose life. If you have enemies, why would you chose death and allow your enemies to enjoy the victory? If you are going through Hell, keep on going, don’t slow down, walk right through it. You might get out ‘fore the devil even knows you’re there.” Then I’d break out in song. If you know me, you accept my word I remembered all the words. What they forget is that Harvard University is even not where I ended. It was a brief stopping point which opened a new frontier to never-ending possibilities. We hung out in Tijuana, Mexico.
