They were called Devils with baggy pants was one group of folks, and many other things they were called depending on what their jobs were in service. They were feared by their enemies because of their spirit and dedication. These folks who went to war in whatever war you can name, those young folks who had never seen the ocean before they joined up, those infantry troops who may have never even see a rifle before basic training, those parachutists who learned the necessary skills just last week perhaps. These kids as most of them were, played High school sports a few months before. They delivered your newspapers or bailed hay and milked cows, or made deliveries from your local market. These were the kinds of folks who fought most of our wars....and arent we glad they did. Hitler is but a bad memory because of these folks, and others too are history because of the American values, spirit and cooperation, back in the days before we got all politically correct, back when our nation actually tried to win wars and stop oppression. The good old days.
