Thieves were disturbed trying to break into a flat building on Delaunays Road, Crumpsall shortly before 1pm this afternoon. Two males forced entry to the main door of the flat block. An occupant at the address heard a loud bang and looked outside. The offenders then knocked on the occupants front door and made off when he answered. A tag from a tool was found outside the address, officers believe they may have used the implement to gain entry to the block. The first male is described as white, approximately 30 years old, 5ft 8 to 6ft of slim build with short, shaved, dark brown hair. He had stubble and was wearing a blue jacket with jeans. The second male was of a similar age and appearance but was wearing a dark blue, possibly black jacket. Did you see anybody acting suspicious or recognise the males from the description?
