Things I really like about Hanoi, Vietnam: -the lakes, every time you turn around there is another lake! -the parks-I tend to aimlessly walk around new places to get to know them, here I keep ending up in different parks! Some of the parks are really big, most are small, but it seems you are never far from one. -the toilets, every toilet I have seen here has been western style, flush by handle instead of having to pour in water from a bucket (unlike much of Asia), I havent even seen any shoe prints on the toilet seats -pho, need I really say more? -cheap , cheap, ridiculously cheap beer that taste very similar to bud light -its a big city but still feels small, I think its mostly due to the city have been built out instead of up, which creates areas and neighborhoods -the coffee, it is sold everywhere. Hot or cold, but always STRONG! -tree lined streets -I think this city has everything you could ever want, I have absolutely no clue how to find anything, but have no doubt it is out there
