Things I remember about Easter: 1. Easter dress, Easter Bonnet, White Ankle Socks, Patent Leather shoes, white gloves and a patent leather purse. Times 4, one set for all three sisters and one for mom. Then off to church. 2. Really full Easter baskets we hunted for Easter morning. We always had the best solid chocolate Easter bunny in the middle, I think my dad always ate the ears off. Jelly beans, malted eggs, chocolate eggs, peeps. 3. Coloring eggs with mom. Not sure I ever liked eating them. 4. Cuyahoga Heights village Easter Egg hunt (I remember various places, even in the field next door before the factory was built). You always wanted the white eggs with the black numbers. Those got you big prizes. 5. The colored real Easter chicks although neither Debbie or I can remember what would happen to them. 6. Visiting the Easter Bunny. 7. Oh, Good Friday my mom would make tuna, pasta, peas and mayonaise salad. What did I miss?
