Things Ive learned today. When the remainder of the family that you thought saw through the bullshit, starts accusing and degrading you, thrashing their tongues at you violently with harsh, hurtful words because they are ignorant and dont care to even ask for the facts. Or have no sympathetic feelings within their entirety. When they disown you because of petty reasons. Try to stand over you with a power trip of authority. No longer caring about the true meaning of family... and youve done nothing but try for so many years, to impress, and be loyal to them, help them when they needed it most ... its time to forget them and move on. Im sorry. But no. Im not a god damn drain off ditch. Im not my mother, which they clearly keep comparing me to. If they dont want my help even after offering it weekly since my separation last year. Fine. Im done trying to satisfy their arrogance. 10 years is to damn long to try and appease their ego. Ive got a life to live. A life without them would probably be healthier, and much, much happier. I have people in my life that want me around. They just wont know what they are losing. All I have to say to them now is this. Grandpa Ed, would be so disappointed. I hope your happy that you tore the rest of the family apart. It only took exactly 1 year after his passing for you to destroy what he held sacred. Family. To my chosen family... blood or not. Thank you, and I love you.
