Things are not good. I dont have any good news to report. The holidays are not my favorite time of year. I entered the military when Desert Storm Iraqi Freedom....Afghanistan and Iraq stuff, bad memories but I was a part of what was considered holiday flights, not easy to get over when you did not know if you had to go to war the next morning because of Saddam Hussein and finding human remains from involuntary torture and chemical engineering as a form of bioterrorism. Well, I will try to get through this dark period that still depresses me after 19 years that people are still dying of senseless deaths for all the wrong reasons. Being in the military taught me how to get through the hard stuff, love as much as you can as you can, dont take anyones crap, stay open hearted and generous, know when to fight and how to pick your battles. Always be thankful for loyalty and honesty, if you dont have those two things, you dont know or possess respect.
