Things like this cause much of the schism between the old mystics and the new scientists... but what do we mean by reality, anyway? Is the world formed in the head reality or is the world that imparted those impressions reality? It seems that the word reality is overloaded with meanings and needs to bifurcate in order to gain a sane synthesis of the subjective body/mind experience of reality and the (more?) objective instrumentational recording of reality. However, our fancy scientific instruments do have their own subjectivity that is too often swept under the rug.
