Things that annoy me and how I sometimes respond to them ( sometimes I leave it alone) : Walk in to get a haircut. They ask what do you want to do with it? You tell them, and then they go into this lengthy question and answer session in which Im supposed to know the differences between a four guard and a two, fade or scissor cut. Wth? Did I get secretly picked to randomly take the cosmetology certification test? Paperwork at the doctors office. It has a spot for a number in case of emergency. 9-1-1. Also, the reason for your visit? To see the Doctor. Getting pulled over by the police and the first thing they say: hi, how are you doing today? Peachy, you? Apparently this was a rhetorical question. At Sonic, all I order is a drink. They then ask if I want to add something fried or with bacon on it. WTH? Are they looking out the window at me and judging me on my appearance and that I look like I want or need something fried or bacony? Yes, go ahead and that please. Go into a restaurant and they ask if you need a menu. Nope, going to just guess at it today, Im feeling lucky. Order the pick three dinner items, and I pick the same item three times. They inform me I cant do that. I ask where it says that on the menu, they explain it doesnt, but that I have to choose three separate items. I explain it should be called the choose three separate items meal. I start to wonder if needing a menu was as important as I first thought. Finally. Go into a store to buy a bag of ice and they ask, need a case of beer to go with that?
