Things werent always so corrupt in medical regulation. Then a few - TopicsExpress

Things werent always so corrupt in medical regulation. Then a few physicians, including those from Oregon said, ~ we can be more safe if we reprimand more. Interesting thought. It may be have been nice if they validated that hypothesis first. More on the forum at DrSocial. bit.ly/MedBoard Having reviewed the literature from NEJM and JAMA on professional regulation and peer review, I can say that if there was the AMA-described peer-review, then perhaps administration should NOT be held accountable. However, sham peer review is rampant, and pathologists who do not know a sign from a symptom are making clinical assessments of others. These assessments are not competent by any evidence-based assessment and they are terribly or not-at-all documented. #MedEd #Ethics #Bioethics #hcsm #Health #PtSafety #Quality #Competency or the lack thereof. drsocial.org/forums/topic/262/ethics-of-professional-regulatio
