Think about it. The bliss of orgasm is a spiritual as well as physical experience. It opens our energy centers and we become vulnerable, both in the energy we expend, and that which we receive. As these energies come together, new energies are born. There is no such thing as spiritual contraception. Many liken orgasm to the nirvana of enlightenment. In this moment of open connection you take on your partner’s uplifting, healing, wounded, or toxic energies. It mingles with your energy and becomes part of you. All manner of outcomes from, wondrous to soul-ripping are possible. If your partner is in an energetic state of consumption, feeding off of other people’s energy, he can drain you. These energy vampires often hang on, sucking your energy, until you are as depleted as they are. The risks are grave. Everything you create, feel, think and do is dependent on the quality and tone of your energy. It is just plain smart to protect, nurture and support it.
