Think about it, when Riks campaign was going on, the community got - TopicsExpress

Think about it, when Riks campaign was going on, the community got together but the match came from abroad. Then the community forgot about it (which we are all guilty of) in the meanwhile, blood cancer did not take a holiday, it continued to affect the lives of those who were diagnosed. It then took a special little 2 year old boy to remind us the problem still exists and that there are not enough of the community on the register. The Almighty has blessed Gaurav with a match, that is proof enough that if youre on the register, you could save a life. I sincerely hope that folks dont lose the drive to register, we need to give others a chance not to go through the worry & anguish that Sunny & Gogo have gone through. What we have felt publicly is nothing compared to what the family have experienced. It has been a testing time with many occasions that could break you but I salute Sunny for his belief & positivity. In my last convo with him, he said something that tells you that the Almighty brings things to the ones who can handle the responsibility. I know whole heartedly that Sunny will continue his work highlighting this in order for others to benefit quicker from a healthier sized donor register. We march on in Gaurav, Jaskomal & Rik Basras names as well as the thousands that have & will need our help. Lets prove its not a trend but more of a commitment to take up Seva in the name of humanity :)
