Think of coachbuilt Rolls-Royces and the mind instantly drifts towards British-formed creations, perhaps French if youre being flamboyant. However, Fritz Ramseier’s Carrosserie Worblaufen formed the body of this 1931 Rolls-Royce 20/25 Drophead Coupe. Originally finished in black, its now in this striking blue and it just looks great. One can quite imagine clipping through the Swiss Alps in it, the spectacular vistas of that mountainous region reflecting in the beautiful coachwork. Up for sale with RM Auctions at its Hershey sale in October, its got an estimate of $80,000 - $120,000. More details at rmauctions. The question is – imagine its 1931... who would you choose to body your Rolls-Royce, given the funds? Photo Credit: Darin Schnabel ©2014 Courtesy of RM Auctions
