Think what you will of Rush Limbaugh. Likely you have not heard his broadcast enough to honestly judge it anyway. While I may not necessarily harmonize with all that he has to say, Rush does tend to represent a pillar of sanity that keeps this country from losing its balance entirely and imploding altogether. The news this week has all his many enemies in a fit of raging fury. It is a spectacle to behold. Certainly one to laugh at. On wednesday, Rush was honored with the coveted Author of the Year Award by the Childrens Book Council. Thats right. Rush got a major national award for writing two childrens books on the subject of American history. Why all the fuss? Well, number one... Rush is the embodiment Satan himself. Number two... the accurate telling of Americas founding flies in the face of all the self-serving revisionist histories that almost entirely ignore mountains of documents that contradict the garbage daily fed our children, from kindergarten to college. Bravo, Rush! I read the first book. It was great. And it will serve to educate a new generation of honest and objective Americans.
