Thinking about the voletile situation in the African continent - TopicsExpress

Thinking about the voletile situation in the African continent that pitted brothers against each other in a protacted struggle to gain comtrol of the designated teritory, one question is always triggered in wy mind as to why are our people so illussioned and played by the supper powers who dangle a blooded carrot before their eyes which has no business in advancing their needs, but to serve as access key to the resources in their domain. Since the 17th century when the colonial power houses first had contact with Africa their aim was to expand their territorial control so that they can be able to advance the social and economic needs of the citizen in their respective countries. The indipendence granted to the so called sofereign states of Africa is a warm blankets that comforted the people of this continent to a sleep to derail their focus to the issues that forced them to embark on a struggle in the first place. The system of government that we pay allegiance to today is no an African, but a foreign ideology that was and is still imposed on the children of mother Africa. This system helped them to consolidate their power to subjugate every part of the continent through economy using multinational financial institutions who disguise as independent from outside influence. The hand that they extend to this continent is heavily loaded with conditions that ensure signitories are tied to them and they would use them when the need arise. A recent example is the e-toll project, which pitted government against its citizens. This project is built by foreign companies which stand to gain a bigger share of the proceeds together with few individuals who help to land the deal, while the financial coffers of the citizenry are stretched to the limmit with no real benefits fro the project.
