Thinking of the lies youre going to tell your parents in order to sneak out to meet that Alhaji,boyfriend or mugu of yours this Xmas period just so you can have the latest electronic gadgets,dresses,jewelries and what have you? Hold on for a second! There is more to life than material possessions. Each time you envy your friends and desire to have what they have so you could feel among them even if it means selling your dignity as a woman,you debase yourself. A womans pride lies not on costumes and make-up nor in the amount of money and connections shes made,rather,it lies on such attributes as proper speech mannerism,humility, skills/educational background,good family backhround,relationship with God and a host of other qualities too numerous to mention. As a woman,you dont need a man to be made,you can be self-made. Learn to have the mindset of independence. I cant marry a man that doesnt have a car cannot come out of the mouth of an hardworking woman. If youre idle,get value for your life-be educated,learn a skill or trade,add value to the society that has made you what you are today. Now,unpack your mini traveling bag and go rebuild your life.
