Thinking this morning of the pain Abraham must have felt on the morning he had to turn his back to his son Ishmael and send him away. Yes, God will tell you to do some things that are extremely painful to you, but absolutely necessary! There are people you genuinely love that you will have to let go of so that what God has vested in you can truly prosper. This is the time when your love for God is severely tested! Do you love Him enough to let them go? Jesus asked Peter, Lovest thou me more than these? FEED MY SHEEP! Please allow me to use that profound question and commission to let you know that Jesus will separate those who genuinely love THE SHEPHERD (sheep) from those who genuinely love themselves (goats)! And when that time comes when God commands them to leave, you must be in a position as did Abraham, to give them some bread and water, send them on their way, turn your back to them and your own feelings, and say NEVERTHELESS, NOT MY WILL, BUT THY WILL BE DONE! Then watch the blessings flow! We can do this!!!
