Third and final round of qualifying today started after a resort. The resort consisted of taking your best run and seeding the heats. So if you broke in one round and then pulled a run from you know where in the next round it didn’t hurt you. So here we go with round three of 17.5 Short Course Truck. With heats set off of the best time from either round the racing was pretty clean except for a bobble or two. Even though the top 6 are locked into the A-main we have seen 4 drivers improve their times from previous rounds. In what I will call the A-heat, fastest qualifiers, there was a battle for the lead between Billy Bruce and Jovan Cruz. In the end one too many mistakes by Billy allowed Jovan to take the win but he did not reset TQ that Billy had set earlier in the day.
