This 19 year old kid will be the greatest underdog rags to riches story in the history of the NBA. Not one scout from any NBA team knew who this kid was, and Masai Ujiri took a HUGE chance drafting him in the 1st round. Even the draft night experts didnt know who he was. Neither did I. Comes to Toronto from Brazil, wide eyed and culture shocked to the bones and just puts his head down and goes to work. Really happy for the dude, he made a huge impact on this city as you can tell from the crowd reaction from last nights game!
