This 1999 Mitsubishi Montero said it heard its brakes squealing and we just put rear pads and rotors on it less than a year ago. We checked the rear pads and noticed that the left rear was wearing more than the right rear. We took the caliper out and fond the dust boot was torn, allowing dirt and foreign particles to enter the caliper causing the piston the seize. We replaced the caliper and warrantied the rear brakes. Afterwards, bled the braking system and took the car on a road test. All is good after repairs and only charged the customer labor on the brake bleed and gave the caliper at our cost because we want our clients to be happy.
