This. As the kids say. It deserves a cult. Ive been whining about how badly I needed three weeks on a beach somewhere. So I went to YouTube to see what was what about Cancun. Instead of noble ruins and sparkling beaches,its this guy from Charlotte just trying to go out of control on his last night in the Hotel Zone, pleading to cross the street to get to Hooters (patient and hefty wife not stopping him, but not expediting things, not protesting audibly as he ogles the babes getting into taxis). How plaintively he longs for the fleshpots. Theres really quite a lot to see! Hes amazed by the street performing chumps dressed as The Mask and Bad Spider-Man; he peruses but does not buy a $30 Hard Rock Cafe shirt, and holds off the touts with the phrase pobre gringo. Im such a snob. A bad one. I mean, the poor bastard just wanted to see the bright lights. Its not like I dont go back and forth up the tourist stroll when I go to some place like Waikiki, but, but...Chiles? Seriously? You go to Mexico so you can go to Chiles?
