This Bible verse is such a meaningful metaphor letting us know that we are moving nearer to the end of this lifes dark night, where we will throw off this tent of flesh and be clothed in our New, Glorified, Resurrection bodies and so we shall ever be with the LORD JESUS CHRIST for the Rest of Time and Throughout All Eternity...What a Precious Encouragement to All HIS Children that the Promise of our Blessed Hope, on which Our Hearts Have Been Focused On Throughout Our Christian Lives, is Nearer Than The Day We First Trusted in JESUS as Savior, and That With Each Passing Day We Are Moving Ever Closer to HIS Any-Day Return...Let Us Joyfully Embrace These Revitalizing Words And Rouse Ourselves From Any Spiritual Slumber Into Which We May Have Drifted And Become Alert And Ready And Watching And Waiting...And Let Us Seek To Use The Time We Have Left Wisely. ~Remember This~Praise GOD & Remain Blessed~
