This Christmas ranks right up there with the best of them. It was sweet watching Jake, who is 10 weeks away from being a teen, still believe in Santa and rush home to get in bed last night and then dive into his stocking this morning. We also had a great time at Beckys Aunt Saras house on Christmas Eve. She puts out a spread of food that was unreal. It was lots of fun with Cousin Katie (not to be confused with Cousin Eddy but just as entertaining!) We continued the awesomeness by having the besties over for brunch. Beckys French toast bake was yummm! A nap was needed afterward, thats for sure. The only downside was Becky being sick and having laryngitis. The festivities kickstarted a week ago back in Alabama with a great visit to see my family. I sure appreciate them changing our traditional Batey gathering so I could see them all while there. Miss yall! In summary, I love all my friends and family, near and far, and I wish you all a wonderful continuation of the holiday season. And now, since I have been so sappy, I am required to go watch Christmas Vacation! :)
