This Job Vacancy is under the Category A of the Employee Referral Program *RESEARCH ASSOCIATE II (OS VI)* *(Ateneo School of Government)* The Research Associate II reports to the Director of the JVO Executive Education Program and his/her responsibilities are as follows: *JOB FUNCTIONS:* The Research Associate will assist the JVO Executive Education Director in implementing projects, particularly in the development, implementation and evaluation of training activities. The work will also include substantial proposal preparation of various types of projects that are being implemented by the School on various key practice areas. A. Provides technical assistance to the Director in writing of manuals, case studies, reports, etc. B. Undertakes research work related to the development of trainers guide and facilitators guide for the module development; C. Translates research work into training cases relevant to the module; D. Assists the ExecEd Director in the implementation of various projects and programs of the ExecEd - Involve in the pre-design and implementation of specific activities of the Executive Education Program activities - Performs research-related work in training such as preparation of training needs assessment and other special research activities - Facilitates the conduct of activities such as seminars, workshops, and forums - Spearheads pre-training and post training preparation such as logistics, documentations and liquidations E. Participates in the development of proposals for various types of projects which the School participates in through bidding, commissioned projects, etc. F. Other responsibilities - Answers telephone calls, queries and participants requests - Provides assistance to the ExecEd Director in School-related and extension activities that require the presence of the various units of the School - Attends all ASoG staff meetings; projects meetings; including those convened by the KPA of ASoG for synergy and complementation - Conducts performance evaluation of staff and managers, as appropriate; and attend exit interview conducted by the Dean/Associate Dean/Assistant Dean as necessary - Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the ExecEd Director and the Dean. *QUALIFICATIONS:* 1. Graduate of any Natural Science, Social Science or Management course 2. Masters degree preferred but not required 3. Strong systems approach in project development, implementation and knowledge of the Monitoring and Evaluation systems. 4. With more than 1 year of professional work experience in the related areas and has accomplished a major research paper/output (preferably in quantitative research studies) 5. Excellent research, presentation, and above average analytical skills 6. Has strong organizational, time-management and communication (oral and written) skills 7. Must have effective interpersonal skills and ability to work and interact with various teams and groups of people 8.
